Thank you so much for your patience over the past few months. The balance of paying attention to the small details and staying on top of our manufacturing deadline has rewarded us with a January delivery date! Right on schedule.
The vibe here in the Racysuits office is ecstatic . . . . boxes of beautiful suits ready to make their final journey to YOU - our lovely backers!
I just sent out a Backerkit notification about your shipping addresses. If you need to change your shipping address now is the time!
Once your package is in the mail you will get a confirmation email and tracking code. Racysuits will ship via Fedex 2-7 Day SmartPost Shipping.

Happy Holidays Backers!
We have been busy busy busy here in New York. Visiting the factory is one of my favorite parts of this process. I have always been curious about the tools used in the textile industry and now I get a front row seat to how it all works. Getting to share these behind the scenes with you is the best part!
UPDATE: We are still on schedule to ship suits in January! More sewing & production updates to come!

Hello!
Shipping is one of my favorite things to do. Packaging up each item, printing our your shipping label, stacking boxes by the door, walking to the post office in crisp fall New York weather! It feels so good to send out each item to our backers. You made this project possible and I can't wait for everyone to receive their rewards.

Racysuits Custom Fabric Printing

We made a special trip to Paterson, New Jersey (once the textile capital of the world) to visit TexPrint USA where our custom prints are being made. The team at TexPrint USA let us watch and learn the process of digital sublimation printing .
TexPrint USA is a family run American textile company that has over 45 years of industry experience. Edward Margarucci Sr. the CEO and Founder began his career in the 1960's. Edward Sr. is now running the company with his son Edward Margarucci Jr. and daughter Ginetta Marino. Their facility is dedicated to being conscious of our environment, all of their used materials are either repurposed or recycled to cut down their carbon footprint.
The video shows how designs are transferred from pre-printed transfer paper onto fabric by contact heat - basically a big oven. The dyes are absorbed by fabric during this heat transfer. Heat Transfer, also known as sublimation printing, is great way to produce high clarity, well defined designs.
Our fabric is now ready and is being shipped to our cut and sew factory where the suits assembled.

I have spent the past week calculating orders and preparing fabric for printing. Your Kickstarter orders help us eliminate waste by calculating the exact yardage needed for each size and print. Most manufacturers are unable to predict quantities in each design and size. Thanks to you we will be maximizing fabric and making sure every penny of our Kickstarter funds is put towards an efficient production run.
Orders have been placed for koozies, postcards, medallions, snap back corduroy caps and sparkle beanies! While production is in motion I will be preparing these orders and shipping over the next few months.
